A little surprise occurred yesterday. I got a call to inform me one of our films, Meltdown, is going to get some screening on Teachers TV this week. Wed 19th at 23.00, Sat 22nd at 22.00 and for all you night owls Mon 24th 03.00. If you've got a digital pipe coming in from the street then you should be able to pick it up. Teacher TV are doing a whole series of shows on climate change and if you haven't seen Meltdown it is worth it just to hear a rather fantastic and unexpected fart about 20 minutes in.

On a Hard XS note - thanks for anyone who has bought a copy. We have officially broken even! This is rather good news cos now me and Ben can book our selves in for some botox.; stretch out those sunken sallow eyes we got during the edit. Choss, a bite sized piece of madness, from Hard XS won best climbing film at SHAFF.

During the last few months there has been a certain amount of R&R going on but through Bigger Picture I've done a few jobs; some subtitling for the British Council in Paris (hideous), a wine show trailer (drunken) and a Bike Helmet Safety Awareness film >> for children (fun). Ben has been out to Oman with Leo Houlding to catch him doing some base jumping for a TV show (C4 or ITV2 perhaps) where he is mentoring a load of young kids in the 'way of the westie'.

Hopefully this week we'll get out to the plantation for a bit of a boulder but after that the system will be reeling us back in and we're off to help Plas y Brenin make an Off Piste safety film.

Finally on one of the message boards I noticed a lament about the demise of the malt loaf price watch. As a little hark back to the old days in case of emergencies I recommend this link >>
