Now be careful to only whisper it but Hard XS is bumping along nicely at the mo and we predict an eta of October/November depending on other commitments.
So what the la have we been doing to make this seem possible?

May was given over to filming Steve McClure at Malham doing battle with the uber extension to Overnight Sensation. The resultant ascent culminated in Britain's hardest sport climb - Overshadow 9a+. We've already edited up the stuff in to a 22 minute short and it shows red pointed is less a cake walk more a barb wire tight rope. Also Steve comes over as a great personality and pretty good company to be around. The pressure of the constant filming and trips to Malham meant the wife cheered his ascent almost as much as the rest of the crag.

Also on the sport climbing front we nailed Stu Littlefair's repeat of Make it Funky 8c after 3 years of effort, a fantastically uplifting piece of film and sure to be a highlight of the dvd.
-
Recently we went to the deep water soloing festival to get our toes wet and then caught neil Gresham bag a new line at Berry Head.. What else - oh we got an interview out of Pete Robins for the slate section - it was excruciating for the lad and I'd wager more difficult than the rock over on the Dawes masterpiece Windows of Perception we filmed him on.
-
Finally on the HardXS front if any one is a secret musician (or indeed runs EMI and wants to give us special rates of discount) then we're on the look out for material for the film and would be very happy to have a listen.

Outside of the above cocoon other work has been for The Bigger Picture brigade again with another Le Mans shoot and another British Council shoot. Also Ben did some filming for a show called Climb Britain or somemat similar which is on the beeb at 9pm Sunday 19th August.

Also coming up is a shoot for live broadcast on bbc Scotland. The weekend of 19th August. Some hairy geezer (Dave McCleod) is doing routes on Shelter Stone and Hell's Lum. It all orchestrated by Triple Echo.
