Cor Blimey guvernor!! In an astonishing twist of fate Stone Love is out on DVD. Get it at the shop. For the first three months we are selling it solely through the website so we can offer it at a cut price deal for the hard core Slackjaw devotee and connoisseur. The time is right to get your DVD collection complete with this subtle soap opera at Cresiano in Switzerland. Bouldering has never looked so emotional.
Other news in an eventful month;
-
'Deadliest Crash' has been nominated in the prestigious Gierson Awards, a top knob do fuelled by champagne and the best docs over the last year. What are we doing there? I guess there is no accounting for taste!
-
The Grand Prix film has been put to bed. Having lived with it for nearly six months I'm a bit bored but feedback has been really positive and the editor Janey Walklin has done an absolutely brilliant job knitting it all together. We've tried to let the drivers tell as much of the story as we can and on a very tight budget have got some great archive. Should be on BBC4 sometime in the New Year.
-
Eve's films Beat is the Law 1 and 2, and Made in Sheffield are getting an airing on Sky Arts.
-
Also we're off and running on another English Heritage web film about the South Downs.
-
Finally for all you muso's Ukewind are playing The Vine pub in Sharrow on the 25th November. Robin Keech who has supplied tracks and SFX for Hard Grit, HardXS and Deadliest is on playing the saw for them. Got to be worth a look!
